I knew nutrition was important when it came to racing and recovering hard, but don’t think I really understood how important until I started working with Anne. Timing nutrition intake and macro nutrient ratios are key to keep me performing at my best whether I’m training or racing. Her plans take the guess work out nutrition so that I know I’m eating the right stuff in the right amounts.
On bike nutrition is vital for performance on long training days and multi-stage races. This has taken me much getting used to, but Anne is always there to remind to keep at it and provides various options and methods of reminder to keep me eating and drinking on those long days.
Anne keeps her recipes super simple and easy with ingredients that are accessible even when out on the road traveling. Since I work full time and train with the aim of one day turning pro, there isn’t much time left in my day to be slaving away in the kitchen! She keeps the plan interesting and mixes it up so I don’t get bored eating the same thing day in and day out.
Anne keeps me performing at my best. I would not have reached the level of racing I have so quickly without Anne’s guidance! Thanks!!
