Need a quick snack 30 min pre-ride? Don’t grab a gel; why not grab some real food? Save the gels for on the bike if you enjoy them (potatoes are a whole food option there as well). I like to grab a banana with some raw honey drizzled on it. Easy to digest, low fat, low protein, good easy whole food choice! Add some sprinkled cinnamon or nutmeg on top if you like!
